Your assignment this week will be a little different - there is more to be done, but you’ll have two weeks to complete everything. You should continue working on your website and complete the following items. You’ll need to log in to LinkedIn Learning in order to complete some of these materials.

Accessibility

• Read Accessible for All by Google
• Read Introduction to Web Accessibility on WebAIM
• Watch ARIA Landmark Roles on LinkedIn Learning
• Complete Accessibility for Web Design on LinkedIn Learning
• Review WCAG 2.1 Guidelines by W3C. Note that public institutions are required to comply with recommendations labeled A or AA. While AAA recommendations are a good practice, they are not required.
• Update your website to be WCAG 2.1 compliant using the WCAG 2.1 checklist from WebAIM
• Use WebAIM’s WAVE Tool and Contrast Checker to confirm that your site is accessible. Fix any errors that arise, and review warnings and messages to determine what needs to be addressed.
• Upload your certificate from Linked In Learning to the Moodle course and complete the forum reflection.

• Complete User Experience for Web Design on LinkedIn Learning
• Update Your website as needed for the best user experience
• Reflect in the Course Forums
